Rev. Dr. Amy Young is the Family Ministries Pastor at First Methodist Church Enterprise, AL, and a seminary grad with MDiv and DMin degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Before moving to Enterprise, Amy was the Minister to Children and Families at Stone Ridge Baptist Church, where she served for 13 years, and she loves all things in the world of Next Gen ministry. It’s her passion to help parents disciple their kids and teens to truly know, love, and follow Jesus. Amy is also passionate about partnering with fellow Next Gen ministers as we all lead kids, teens, and parents in a local church context. This blog mainly focuses on Next Gen issues, Christian theology, and insights Amy gains from personal study.

Amy is also a graduate of Mississippi College, now Mississippi Christian University (Go Choctaws!), with a B.S. in Pre-Med Biology and a minor in Mathematics. In her humble opinion, Star Wars is one of the best fictional stories ever told, and Mini Schnauzers are the best fur babies.
